HSSE Policy Statement

Health, safety and security of Newage Engineering & Services employees are of primary importance to us. As a company, we are committed to maintaining a safe, secure and healthful working environment. We provide to our employees necessary safeguards, programs, trainings and equipment required to reduce the potential for accidents and injuries. This commitment is in the best interests of our clients/ customers, our employees, contractors, partners and the communities in which we live and work.

To achieve this goal, we have developed and implemented a comprehensive Safety Manual that is the property of Newage Engineering & Services. This program is designed to prevent workplace accidents, injuries, and illnesses. A complete copy of the program/policy is maintained at our head office. A copy is also maintained at each job site/work location you may ask to review it at any time. Newage Engineering & Services recognizes that the success of our HSSE Policy and Program is contingent and dependent upon support from the executive levels management as well as involvement and interest of all employees of the company.

It is the intent of Newage Engineering & Services to comply with all rules, regulations and policies to our HSSE System. To accomplish this, we always maintain active participation and assistance of all employees specially our technical staff. The policies and procedures contained in the following manual are mandatory. We should also be constantly aware of conditions in all work location that can produce injuries or illness. No employee is required to work at a site that he or she knows is not safe. Never hesitate to inform your supervisor of any potentially hazardous situation or condition that is beyond your ability or authority to correct immediately. No employee will be discriminated against for reporting safety concerns to management.

It is the responsibility of each employee of Newage Engineering & Services to support the company HSSE Policies and Program and to perform in a manner that assures his or her own personal safety and the safety of others, including clients/customers, visitors, partners and communities in which we live and work. To be successful in our endeavor, all employees on every level must adopt proper attitudes towards health, safety, security, injury and illness prevention. We must also cooperate in HSSE matters, not only between management and employees, but also between each employee and his or her respective coworkers. Only through such an effort can our HSSE Policies and Program be successful. Our objective is a HSSE Policy and Program that will reduce the total number of injuries and illnesses to an absolute minimum. A successful HSSE Policy and Program can only be achieved and maintained when there is active interest, participation, and accountability at all levels of the organization. Our ultimate goal is zero accidents.
